Akapat “Kim” Phornprapha Unveiled His Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster at the Lavish Handing-Over Ceremony.

A parade of 49 Lamborghinis – all owned by members of the Lamborghini Club of Thailand (LOCT) – rolled out the red carpet for the official handing-over ceremony of Akapat “Kim” Phornprapha‘s Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster – one of only 63 models in the world.

On March 6 at the Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok, we witnessed the rarer of beast making its prodigious, propelling entrance into the grand ballroom where all eyes of over 150 guests were cast with a spell of gracious grandeur.

The Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster: What’s the Hype?

As a celebration of the marque’s inaugural year dated back in 1963, Lamborghini launched a limited-edition super sports car, the Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster – with the V12 engine that bestows one’s dream of hitting 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. A peerless mix of loftiness, sportiness and loveliest of life, the light-cobalt-coloured pinnacle of marvellousness is one of the rarest gems of propulsion.

The Event: What was Happening?

The owner of A. P. Honda, accompanied by Apichat Leenutaphong from the Renazzo Motor, drove the automative marvel on a ramp mesmerising an utterly stupendous moment that’s bound to be imprinted in one’s recollection for the longest of time to come. Added to that was a manifestation of a mini-sized Lamborghini presented by the endearing daughter of Kim, Arpels. Guests – all adhering to safety guidelines and protocols – circled round relishing a delectable, four-course, Italian-inspired menu paired with Italian wines, as well as an all-night pour of Piper-Heidsieck champagne throughout the celebratory event.
